A complete noob-friendly guide to OxygenOT

So you’re new to the server and maybe even new to botting?
Where does one even begin their journey on this server?
Look no further, Boxy decided to write this tutorial instead of studying for his exam!

Step One: General Settings in OxyBot [Main]
As you might have gathered from the built in bot in the client, it is essential to bot if you are looking to make progress on this server.
I will be explaining the usage of “OxyBot”, as that’s the one I’m using. Make sure it’s selected in the top left hand corner of the screen before reading more.


Healing & Mana
Click where it says “Auto Healing”, so that it turns green. Select at what % you want the bot to start healing your character.
Click on the “Mode” button, and make sure it’s set to “Spell”, as it’s always better than runes.
To find out what healing spell you should use, use the command !spells in the normal game chat.

After that, click on “Mana Rune” so that the button turns green.
Select at what % you want the bot to start using manarune.
Note: If you get a new Mana Rune, simply drag it from your BP to the Mana Rune icon in the bot.


Targeting & Attacking
Click on “Auto Targeting” for the bot to
automatically target monsters around you. After that, click on “Auto Attack”.
If you are a knight or a paladin, I recommend using “Always Retarget: ON”
Here you also want to make sure that it’s set to “Mode: Spell”, just like with the healing.
To find your single target and multi target spells, use !spells in the game chat.


Buffs and Utilities
Select your vocation in the drop-down list. Make sure both “Utito” [LVL 200] and “Recovery” [LVL 300] are green.
Party buffs unlock at level 800, so they are not nessecary right now.
Make sure “Auto Haste” [knight/paladin: “utani mas hur” - druid/sorcerer: “utani gran hur”] and “Exchange Tokens” are also green.
Mana Training should never be turned on when leveling, only use this when fishing.


Auto Loot & Auto Sell
Auto Loot is set up under your equipment.

Items are added to Auto Loot by typing the name of the item then clicking “Add to list”.
Items that should be added immidiately are “token”, “cluster of solace” and “gold token”.
The other items should be added depending on what you are hunting.
You can remove items if the new creatures you kill don’t drop them anymore.

Auto Sell is set up by dragging an item from your BP into an empty space.
Make sure the button is green for items to be sold.


Note: You need “a golden key” in your BP for this to work.

Step Two: Efficient Targeting [Target]
Click “Add” to create a new target profile. You could use your character name here for example.
Now you will want to click on “Show target editor”. Now click “Add”.
In the “Target name” field, add a * symbol.
This means that the rules we set will apply for all creatures.


There are three interesting sliders and two buttons to make use of here. First make sure that “Dynamic Lure” and “Dynamic Lure Delay” are both clicked so they turn green.
Dynamic Lure will help you drag monsters along, so that you don’t stop running.
This is generally seen as the most effective way of hunting for all vocations. After that you can adjust the sliders.

Dynamic Lure min: How many creatures need to be attacking you for the lure to activate.

Dynamic lure max: How many creatures need to be attacking you for the lure to stop.
If you don’t have enough damage, or if you take too much damage,
cap this at 5 or 8 to see how many monsters you can deal with.

Dynamic lure delay: How much slower than normal your character should move. This is heavily spawn-dependent. Play around with it.

Step Three: Auto Hunting [Cave]
With everything else set up, you just need to set up a cavebot to start botting for real.
For every new spawn you will click on “Add” to create a new cavebot.
Once you have clicked that and named it, you can click on “Show waypoints editor”.
Now you will have a new button called “Auto Recording”. Simply click that, run a lap in the spawn, then once you’re back where you started, click it again.


By combining all of the above steps, you are successfully botting on OxygenOT!
Make sure to set it all up before you continue reading, so you don’t waste any exp!

Good to know
OxygenOT has a very detailed wiki, which you will use a lot.
It can be found under the “Library” button in the menu.

These are the most important pages for a new player:
Attribute Points - I highly recommend checking out Rukke’s Attribute spreadsheet. It can be found here: Google Spreadsheet
Tasks - Tasks will help your progress a lot. Finishing a task gives you an attribute point, task points and a level.
Fishing - Since MC (Multi client) is allowed on this server, it is recommended to set up a few fishers when you are new. They will fish for you, so that you can sell the fish to other players for different currencies or use it to boost your character.
Stamina - Read about Stamina so you don’t hunt without getting exp or loot!
